Lanka Refractories Ltd was incorporated in December 1982 in Sri Lanka as a legal entity. The company is well equipped with the machineries and technical assistance received from M/s Pragoinvest of Czech Republic and some other important machines imported from Germany. The total investment made in establishing the plant and machineries was $ 2.5 m.n. We are the only sole manufacturer in the Country for the refractory items. This plant with the installed capacity of 8000 MT of Production per annum was a fully owned subsidiary of Lanka Ceramic Limited until September 2002 .Since October 2002 ,the company ownership was transferred to present Management of Malaysian and Sri Lankan investors.
